Bio

Syeda Nafisa Ahsan is a senior research physician with a strong academic foundation in public health and dentistry, complemented by extensive training in quantitative research methods. She completed her BDS from the Dental Unit of Chittagong Medical College. She later pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the National Institute of Preventive and Social Medicine (NIPSOM), where she strengthened her expertise in epidemiology, biostatistics, and health systems research. Her research interests lie at the intersection of public health, dentistry, and social science, with a particular focus on maternal and child health, preventive healthcare, and the social determinants of health. Mrs Ahsan has completed a series of advanced research workshops at CMRD, including 60-Minute Research, Sample Size Calculation, ROC Curve Analysis, and Survival Analysis, enabling her to apply rigorous analytical approaches to complex health datasets. Her core professional strengths include scientific publication, statistical analysis, thesis and dissertation writing, and protocol development, making her an asset to multidisciplinary research collaborations. She remains committed to advancing evidence-based practice in Bangladesh through high-quality public health research and academic engagement.
